The PRAXIS II Special Education: Application of Core Principles across Categories of Disability Exam is taken by candidates interested in teaching special education at any grade level, including preschool. The exam contains 50 multiple choice questions: 10 questions cover Professional Issues and Literature, 10 questions cover Management of the Learning Environment, 10 questions cover Assessment, 10 questions cover Instruction, and 10 questions cover curriculum. Candidates have one hour to complete the exam.
